Fashion Sketches are the perfect way to elevate your event, from black-tie charity galas to enchanting proms and more - and your guests will delight in watching these tasteful drawings come together! *2 hour minimum within the Kansas City Metro Area. Travel fees or higher minimum hours may apply to events outside of 45 miles of 64132.

Slipcovers

Your guests will get their drawing home safely in these clear plastic covers. Slipcovers also allow for safe storage and add an elegant finishing touch!

FREE! Just ask!
Add a pop of color with a little spotcolor! Choose one or two colors and allow your artist to pick the placement, from clothes to lips to hair!

Frequently Asked Questions
​Q. How does booking work?
A. A 50% deposit and signed contract secure your date with the remainder due the week prior to your event! This is all manageable via an online portal so you can book via your phone or computer for your convenience.
​Q. What is the difference between Fashion Sketches and Standard Caricatures?
A. Fashion Sketches are an elegant sketch with shading that focuses on the full body of the subject without any exaggeration while Standard Caricatures are cartoon drawings of the subject's face with fun but gentle exaggerations. Standard Caricatures take 3 minutes per person (or 20 people per hour) while Fashion Sketches take about 5 minutes per person (or 12 people per hour). Standard Caricatures are on 11x17" while Fashion Sketches are on 8.5x11". Both add art and a party favor to your event, but in different ways!
Q. Do you have multiple artists available?
A. Yes! Marietta has a few additional fashion sketchers on roster that can work with her given their availability! All artists bring their own supplies. Paper sizing, styles, and drawing times may vary.
Q. Do you do commissions?
A. No. Caricatures by Marietta is an event service dedicated to bringing you live art entertainment. That being said, we're happy to do house calls! We've attended a number of dinner parties and holiday family gatherings where caricatures were the primary focus. We're often far more economical than commissioning an artist - and we're fun during the process too! And remember - Marietta is happy to travel nationwide!
